The people who discovered nature's genius. Now bringing it to market.
We are a team of engineers, scientists, strategists, and makers, united by a belief that nature already solved the packaging problem. Our job is to make that solution commercially available at scale. Naturally Genius™ was formerly known as Mushroom Material.
We come from all over the world, with experience across manufacturing, materials science, and commercial growth. Some of us build the mushroom packaging material. Some grow the business. Some sell. All of us care about making materials that matter.

Laurie’s background spans biomedical science and architecture, with a passion for where science, design, and sustainability meet. Much of her career has been focused on developing mycelium materials, from academic research through to real-world commercial applications. Driven by a curiosity for better materials and smarter systems, Laurie brings both scientific rigour and creative thinking to the team. Outside of work, you’ll usually find Laurie exploring nature or learning a new board game - and quietly becoming far too competitive at both.
